Sulphuric Acid is a dense, oily mineral acid supplied in 98% concentrated (oil of vitriol) and 70% dilute grades. It is the world’s highest-volume industrial chemical — central to fertilizer manufacture, metal pickling, battery electrolyte, detergents and water treatment. Both grades ship with a third-party COA, GHS SDS and full IMDG documentation.

Dangerous-Goods Handling

Sulphuric Acid is UN 1830, IMDG Class 8 (Corrosive), Packing Group II. Every shipment leaves Gujarat with complete dangerous-goods paperwork.

Both 98% and 70% contain more than 51% acid and ship under UN 1830, Class 8, PG II in UN-approved HDPE drums, square mousers or composite IBCs. Each consignment carries the IMDG DG declaration, UN-marked packing certificate, GHS SDS and third-party COA, with Class 8 labelling applied. Concentrated H₂SO₄ reacts violently and exothermically with water (always add acid to water, never the reverse) and is incompatible with organics, metals and oxidisers — stow accordingly.
